Keeping a journal helps children practice daily mindfulness, helps them to track their mood and feelings, practice their writing skills and reflect on their day to day lives. This journal is the perfect way to instill positivity, mindfulness and keep them engaged all Summer long.
The very best part about this journal is that the main author is Marisa. Marisa provided most of the ideas for the Summer activities, assisted with which positive affirmations work best and selected the illustration components. 80% of the content was Marisa made! This journal is designed for daily use containing 60 main pages and a few extra for free doodling/writing,. One page per day helps your child track their mood, practice positivity and prompts them to write and do
activities as they record their Summer.
Each page contains:
- One positive affirmation
- One yoga pose to try
- Mood tracker
- Space to write/draw about their day
Additional activities are spread throughout include space to doodle, colouring pages, Summer bucket list items, activity prompts and blank
pages to add pictures or additional writings.
Sample activities include: have an outdoor foam party, make popsicles, draw your dream treehouse and more.
